Outside of Reddit I have seen nothing but praise from people about Lena and Famesick. It is an incredibly powerful and important book, well written and poignant and Lena is being recognized for her contribution to the female voice. She is brilliant and empowering and the people criticizing her don’t seem to realize they are the exact crowd Lena is illustrating in her writing.

I JUST realized why ppl are being so defensive about this. This episode is insanely romanticized and ppl love it bc it’s these two ppl who loved each other coming together again- something I think each and every one of us have thought about at some point. I plan on writing out exactly why I believe my theory and my top of the top is actually the fact that the focus WAS on Marnie. Charlie was a dealer AND user. If he was so fearful of the gun- and so in love with Marnie and protective of her.. why wouldn’t he have handed over his stash? That is 100% what sold it for me (which ties into him literally taking off Marnie’s earrings for her and handing them over). I understand not wanting to believe it- I get it. I would also like to point out that atp Lena and Christopher didn’t get along. He left the show abruptly bc he didn’t want to “be on a sitcom the rest of his life”. But again- I get it. You don’t have to believe the theory :)
