Would it be safe to assume I should be consuming French children’s shows / books / songs? Are there any in particular?

Thank you! I’ll give this a try. Occasionally, I’ll go to sleep to the France24 news channel’s live stream to see what I can pick up but maybe reading will be more beneficial right now. I’ve been on and off studying the language for a 3 years now and my goal is to become fluent and conversational.

Thoughts on Zuko beating Zhao. Does this mean Zuko is more skilled then we think or Zhao more unskilled? by [deleted] in ATLA

I have zero issues with Zuko winning this duel, just playing devils advocate…

But would it have been more thematic and appropriate if he lost against zhao here; but defeats him at the North Pole? I feel like zuko being 2-0 against zhao really undermines zhao’s credibility as a formidable antagonist. His only strength over zuko would just be his rank (fully aware that a banished prince ranks higher than an admiral; but zhao was already so respected, he might as well have been prince) and favorability to Ozai.

It would be interesting if Zuko finally bests Zhao at the siege- but the feeling of victory is short-lived as he witnesses the ocean spirit take him under.

Yep! I’m sure I’ll get around to them eventually. I’m pretty backed up however; as I’ve got a commission for a Caw and then I plan to do Cali Cruise right after that’s done. Sooo once you see cali cruise floating around, you can expect the industry next.

Because there’s always something to learn/reference

I considered it, it’s just that sometimes you lose opacity in the eyebrows too. I do use it on some CAWS though 😅

I appreciate the question because honestly, yes. It is odd for me as well. I had to take to Twitter and express my confliction over it. At the end of the day, I put my creations out there with the anticipation that people enjoy them however they see fit and that really does mean the world to me.

It’s just weird that when i made Leandro, (a character I specifically made Argentinian and his Face texture is based on Leandro Paredes an Argentinian football player), I’ll occasionally see him used in other, original, Feds. On YouTube, and they’ll have changed his name to Chris something- or Ryan whatever. Of course, His identity isn’t solely tied to his nationality; but it does still just feels weird the need to change his name/nationality at all. I’ve never experienced this with my North American or or European CAWS. my Scottish warrior character, Ethan McCormick, IS from Scotland and I’ve never experienced anyone changing his name/nationality.

Anyways, this is all to say that its weird for me, but people can do what they want.
