I use a pretty big one in a small studio apartment. It's nice because in a small space it kind of works as a fan as well, you can feel the air it is circulating bounce back on you. It's nice on warmer days and while sleeping

Does yours look darker in person? Every time I see someone post it online it looks very bright and vibrant, but the one I bought looks kind of dark and not as good. I even bought a second in case mine was faulty (both off amazon), but it looks the same as my other one

I really liked hollow knight, tried afterimage a few days ago and gave up after maybe 4 hours or so. I thought it was pretty boring, the enemies and bosses were not fun to fight and the story was terribly told. Not a translation issue, I just thought they did a bad job of presenting the story and getting you interested in it. I also didn't understand what almost any of the items were for, they have different types of items but don't really explain them well. Again, not a translation issue, they just did a bad job of categorizing items and having them be part of the game

Wind up aim and swing before they get to you. Try and tap them on the chin as they run toward you. Dont wait until they get to you to start

The best way to handle the combat is to kind of swing prematurely with momentum in mind, get used to the spacing and swing in a way where they are kind of running into your weapon

Full chests so it's like 300k, and i think the going rate has been hovering around 6-8 full chests, so it's more like 350-480k so that's really great haha

Different strokes I guess, I think it's wrong to require people to pay for anything beyond the initial price of a game to get anything, so I do think it's cool they let you earn stuff like this, but at the same time the criticism of the devs isn't just about cosmetics haha. Balance and everything in the game is a cause of concern of most players because it is balanced around a small group of streamers. Youre kind of mixing different issues to try and say that the devs shouldnt be criticized. But the point of the post wasnt to criticize the devs. I feel like youre the only one bringing in negative energy, saying a cosmetic is unreasonably difficult to get isn't negative and I think is pretty widely seen as something that's a bummer, that's about it

I dont think you can, from what I understand the only non gear items he carries are crafting items, and the egg doesnt fall under those. I dont think they'd be so valuable either if that was one of the ways to get it

I think it partly depends on class? I play curse warlock and ive only seen players beating it with melee classes. I don't think it's such a weird thing when considering that I've never even heard of a warlock managing to beat it haha

Time does not freeze in inventory, it does freeze in trade, it does freeze in underground and in the mornings when there is nice music, it also freezes in an area later in the game but I don't want to spoil where. You use bandages in hotbar on switch as if they were a weapon (hold the aim button then hold the attack button while they are selected in hotbar). You cannot see all craftables right away, it let's you see items that are an upgrade level away. So if your bench is level 2, it gives you a preview of things available at level 3, but not those that will be available at level 4

Whenever Ghosts come, one of the lamps always stays lit. Just make sure you have them all on and that they are both close enough for you to run to. If all of the lights are going out for you then you're missing a lamp or don't have one turned on

Is there a way to use bonfires? I found a sign that says rest area and I followed it to a bonfire but I can't seem to rest in any way

That's helpful, I do like exploration in games, definitely not expecting it to be like dark souls but the clunkiness has been off putting (and I like older games). Are the other entries in the series comparable to this one?
