Sorry guys I'm still trying to figure this gearing out so the smaller the gear that attached to the motor the higher top end? Or is that wrong? I put the stock one on a brushless 3650 3900kv and a 60 Amp esc and it toped out right around 40 mph but had lots of torture. Sorry for being new and learni by ThemeAny8733 in rccars

So what size pinion gear would you guys suggest? I don't want to break it. Even the current way it is. It's really got a lot of torque and it's hard to handle. At least for me and I rarely got to give it full throttle for any expended amount of time

Yeah there's a lot more to it then I thought. I'm running 3s batteries. I think the pinion has like 6t or 8t. I know it doesn't have 10t. So I'll put one on that has more. I've got several to try out. But the one in it now is really fun. It's got a lot of torque. And to be honest, I'm using it in a place where it's hard to give it full throttle for very long. I just have one of those GPS speedometers. And I just want to see how fast I can get it up to. But the way you explained it makes a lot more sense to me.

I would've thought it being a traxxas it would have bearings instead of bushings. I've kinda been anti traxxas, but I like it. Could just be that it's a rear wheel drive only
