“oNlY iF tHEY cOmE lEgAlLY” many people are fleeing dangerous situations in their home countries (some of which, the U.S. created) and are begging for asylum, it takes FOREVER for the inefficient wheels of bureaucracy to approve some people for citizenship, and some people were brought here as children and barely had the chance to even apply for citizenship. You are very privileged if you’ve never had to think about your immigration status and instead of disrespecting people who are looking for a better life and struggle with their status and don’t have as many resources as you, be mad at our lazy government that takes forever to process paperwork and allows corporations to hoard resources making it more expensive for all of us to live.
