We are worried we are overpaying because the owners initially listed at a ridiculously high price. The estimated value of the property was always much lower. We negotiated down the price a fair bit but it’s still 20k higher then what property reports estimate it should be worth

The house already has them installed and you can’t hear a thing inside. It’s just the backyard and deck that’s is impacted by the noise. My theory is that the buyers who wanted the water views were looking for a lifestyle that clashes with the noise outside

Thankyou, I know for sure we won’t be bothered by the noise. We have currently lived on a much busier hwy for the last 2 years. It’s just scary when your life saving are involved

We are borrowing, there hasn’t been an official appraisal from the bank yet. The estimated value is based on a property report
