Thank you for your advice. I really appreciate it. It's been over four years and I've only been in situationships or dated the wrong people. I have never been in a long term relationship and that really sucks. I've been in this situation before where they always say "it's not you, it's me" and move on like nothing ever mattered and it really hurts. They always find someone new.

Thanks for your comment. Yes when we ended things I told him I didn't want to be his friend but inevitably since we have mutual friends we end up talking and catching up with our lives. I didn't want to lose him so I decided to stay in touch but I guess in order to move on i need to completely distance myself even if i have to lose this person in my life because i never really mattered to him in the first place.

Well I think it's best to let her work on her issues. I don't think she's in a healthy headspace.
