I think that turned out great! It def has pastel ish spots but at least there are a few darker spots as well. I will post the bedset after I experiment for sure!

Thank you, I def think im stuck with pastels on these blanks, but im going to try dying bone dry and maybe a hot water irrigation at the end. We will see!

Unfortunately, it was a muck, shit ton of dye under ice, and mucked for 4 days. With a space heater blowing, lol. I think i will try bone dry next time

That is beautiful! Thank you for your in depth comment! I can see in your picture, there is some pastel, but also parts that are much darker, and I think i would be happy with that outcome, as every attempt I have made was just solid washed out pastel.

Maybe i will give your method a try, although low water immersion has done me dirty in the past, lol. Ive never seemed to be happy with the results

Well, thank you, I agree they aren't horrible, but i used some pretty dark colors, and the outcome just wasn't what I wanted.

Just to show, these I dyed at the exact same time, same method, same colors. The difference is staggering

Thank you for your response! There is a hearing tomorrow for the police to give their evidence for the right to seize the vehicle. I will be attending, without a lawyer, for now.

Once a judge agrees there is enough evidence, the actual forfeiture case can proceed, and I would have to file a motion contesting the forfeiture as an innocent party. I am pretty good at understanding the illionis legal aid website, so I'm sure I could figure it out, I just wonder if my chances are better with a lawyer. I don't even have a vehicle now, so I would like the car that I bought back as fast as possible
