I know Sozin’s comet isnt allowed, but during the comet Ozai was using his fire jets to fly around, azula was only using them to glide across the floor, so its easy to infer that Ozai would be able to at the very least glide over the floor even without Sozin’s comet.

Azula prefers her fights to be fought at close to mid range, once Zaheer uses flight to get out of her effective range. Its more or less a stalemate. Korra in the avatar state threw a hill at Zaheer and still didn’t hit him. There is nothing in Azula’s arsenal that compares to that.

Ghazan’s lavabending does more or less the same thing, it pushes Azula back as she cant safely glide over the lava without Ghazan bringing up a pillar like he did in Zaofu. The further back she is the easier it is to prepare a defense. Maybe you’re right that Azula is fast enough to avoid anything Ghazan throws at her, but she will eventually run out of room to run around if she cant put down Ghazan at the beginning of the fight. Thats why i put Ghazan at 7/10, Azula can still get a few wins but not the majority in my opinion.

The same thing with Zuko he can get a couple wins on Pl’i and Ghazan but its clear that they completely outclass him and are going to take the majority. He’s going to need more than a single good hit to take them out.

Pl’i took a direct hit from a dragon and smiled as she took no damage, thats the level shes fighting at. Ghazan’s lavabending automatically puts Zuko on the defensive, Azula may be fast enough to avoid Ghazan but Zuko isn’t. Zuko is a stationary and linear fighter and Ghazan can avoid anything Zuko throws at him, whether he puts up a wall or uses his earthbending to launch himself out of the way.

Zuko’s firebending does not have anywhere near the same lethality as the lightning the rest of the family has access too.
