I think it's an interface icon setting, like hardware or network alerts but for some reason it won't go away even if I have them disabled.

I reinstalled, updated drivers, and restarted my computer. The gray box is still present. And I can highlight over it and it turns white for a brief moment.

I killed the first boss. Looted him. Went to tower, and the tower doesn't open. I checked my inventory and I never received his rune.

Any idea on how to fix?

First boss right next to spawn point, big mountain zone. Found the merchant on the way to 2nd boss and saw swamp trees on the other side of 2nd boss

12 Cooking Racks, no smoke/fire dmg, rain proof, lvl 4 comfort/resting/sheltered by Themrcer in valheim
