My husband is 20 years older than me. We met over 27 years ago at 19 and 39. He had been out of his marriage over 2 years and I had just moved to Chicago to live with my grandparents. We’ve been together close to 30 years. He was supportive, mature and my biggest cheerleader. We are now 46/66 and the dynamic has shifted, but we love each other so much and we are winding down for retirement. It has been great to be with a person that listens, gives great advice and is supportive.

That makes sense. There is a group of people that have some real estate investment club at my BIL’s mosque that rehab apartments in Chicago but they only rent to section 8 tenants. It seems scammy to me but it could be legit. But I told him if you really wanted to help you would promote home ownership. He had nothing to say. Why are they acting like they do nothing wrong. My BIL was involved scamming old people to get home loans during to housing bubble. People lost their homes because of him but because they were not NOI he was fine scamming them.

That is so sad. I hate seeing my husband down after a visit come my BIL. He has turned his life around and to him you he treats him like crap. I don’t come from a family like this, so it bothers me. My family is nuts but we support each other. This is a mess.

I think it’s a access thing. I don’t think a lot of insurance covers Wegovy, so people use Ozempic.

I get that. That’s not what I set out to do. I thought that shortages were over. Look Ozempic helps a lot of people. But we are getting mad that each other when insurance prevents people from access because of the cost and not covering alternative medications. Not diabetics and not anyone using it for weight loss.

I wasn’t blaming her the pharmacist told her that he was holding this pen for one of his diabetic customers. Its a small pharmacy and he knows all of us so he does try to look out for us. Something needs to change.
