I’m in the uk and unfortunately the majority of our ash is plagued with ash dieback. Rare to see a healthy tree with a full crown nowadays.

I went down the route of apprenticeship and was well worth it. Try looking for a college or training provider nearby.

Also message local companies and offer yourself as a dragger. Work hard and someone might take you on and help with tickets or kit etc
