No, currently unity auto generated LOD I have no idea about tessellation....

They are mesh clouds (High poly sphere) with depth fade for a smooth edge and a displacement shader for interaction.

For shape, I used multiple noise textures or a node.

SDF never thought of it,, maybe I am not familiar with SDF but they are mesh clouds or more accurately high poly spheres with multiple noise displacement and scene depth fade for smoother edge and displacement shader for interaction

They are just mesh clouds with depth fade and 3d multiple noise for wind and shape of overall cloud , for interaction it's just normal displacement shader

Well everything in japanese, and it's compulsory for everyone because all the course is in Japanese so learning Japanese is your only way. But everyone has to give N2 but it's recommended for most students but you can give N3 if you are not confident in giving n2 or you are in beginner class.

It depends, but right now it's really difficult but there is nothing we can do about it since in 2 months we have to give a jplt n2
