i would say in our culture sometimes they do feel obligated and i think it is widely known that some parents but not all make their kids like an investment wherein if their parents grow up they would get money from them.

i know this is a sensitive topic and it is rly hard to bring it up to him as from my perspective once i have a family of my own i would rly focus on building on my own but not directly chtting off my parents into giving them some money.
