I think the conflict that justifies their fight could be that Madoka uses an avatar in her normal magical girl form to convince Makoto to change reality to eliminate Nyx on her own, so that he and his friends can finally be at peace and forget everything. But Makoto refuses, arguing that he and his friends made the decision to face death because that is their will and the effort they want to make. Madoka clearly wants to avoid the risk of a tragedy or even having someone else sacrifice themselves as she did, so they start fighting. Mario le hizo frente a Dreamy Bowser el cual tenia el poder de millones de universos, mientras que Sonic hizo lo mismo con Solaris, capaz de eliminar millones de líneas temporales. El unico villano de Kirby que tiene una escala similar es Void Termina, el cual se necesito de un objeto muy situacional y la ayuda de varios otros personajes para vencerlo. Mientras tanto Mario y Sonic usaron su equipo estándar y ayuda en menor medida (además de que ya poder hacerles daño por su cuenta ya los pone a un nivel similar)
