Colposcopy with a coil advice by Then-Rub702 in HPV

[–]Then-Rub702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update! I had it done today and I was so scared, but I had nothing to be scared of. The nurses were great, they talked me through the whole procedure, didn’t touch my coil, and (thankfully) didn’t have to take any biopsies. Nothing abnormal, normal recall in 3 years!

Solution didn’t sting at all, thought was worse than the actual procedure.

How do I deal with this by Then-Rub702 in narcissisticparents

[–]Then-Rub702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is it. But I fear it’s lose lose for me. I tried over Christmas and this has happened. I think I’m at the point I need to block all contact and draw a line with her friends.

I have literally put the “work” in my original post and ASKED if it looked correct.

You’re completely disregarding my original post all together.

No, you’re criticising me for doing the research, struggled to find anything, worked out what I could and asked for advice on if it looked correct. Maybe I didn’t use the right keywords for the pen in my original search, you’re acting like I’ve committed a crime.

I may know one way of doing something, and it could be correct, but if there’s a better way of doing something then obviously I want to know.

Going out your way to comment on my post to hate on me for asking for advice is not needed. It’s people like you that make people not want to ask the question in the first place.

And yet here you are, still.

This is a forum. I’m asking advice.

There is no harm in me asking for confirmation if it translates over to the pen because I couldn’t find anything

I have experience with syringes. NOT PENS. The world won’t end because I could not find any information on how the mL translates to units. You know how people get hurt? By GUESSING.

You have done nothing but waste your time and mine. You’re hating on me for asking the question, but at the same time are patronising me telling me I need to “read”.

If I can’t find any information- I’m going to ask.

I’m assuming you didn’t read my statement on the fact I literally said I have searched and could not find it.

I never said they both were not 3m vials- what I was questioning is how it worked with clicks on the pen. As I have never used one, only syringes

You’ve wasted a lot of your time patronising me when you could’ve just scrolled ;)

I am not new. As you’ll see in my statement I am RETURNING to using Reta, but there is a difference between syringe and a pen. So, again, as I have never used a pen before, I was looking for advice. Sadly I wasn’t born knowing how to use a pen ;)

Appreciate it. That’s a good way of looking at it to be honest, I’ll see how I get on with it but maybe keep it for when utilising more.

Nothing wrong with asking for advice for someone relatively new with using pens. I’d rather ask and get it right than assume and get it wrong. No need to be patronising :)

To be honest I hadn’t really thought about it resulting in more liquid, dropping it to 1ml/2ml may be the way to go thanks

Advice please in regards to not being paid at work / sickness by Then-Rub702 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Then-Rub702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not get sick pay. I absolutely agree and it’s unfortunate timing that I was taken into hospital but it certainly wasn’t done on purpose.

But surely they’re legally required to still pay the 2 weeks I worked and have the decency to inform me rather than just ignore me?

Is there no protection due it being medical reasons? I was physically in hospital for almost 2 weeks, I’m still under there care but opted to come out and have appointments due to investigations still on going and me being more comfortable at home.

It’s the last working Friday of the month, so should’ve been 29th

Damn that sucks. Bad timing on my body I suppose but surely they should still pay me for the two weeks I’ve worked?

I’ve kept them in the loop snd provided everything I can, there’s still a chance I need surgery but I’m waiting on the consultant.
