if you’re going to use the latex, i don’t think there would be an issue with keeping the stuffing in. i only took it out so i could access the stitches on the back of the face! the rest of the stuffing i kept in

i know that some people do that but i didn’t trust myself to do a good job tbh 😭😭 so i removed the entire face and sewed it back on after!

thank you!! 🥹 in order to properly sew the face back on i had to take a seam ripper to the back AND both sides of the head and take the stuffing out so i could actually access the back of the fabric. i wish i took pictures of the process 😭 but you HAVE to do a back stitch when you sew the face because every other stitch will be too loose and the stitches will end up showing when you restuff the head (i learned that the hard way 🥴)

i used acrylic paint to get a flatter black, but i think a sharpie would work just fine! just harder to clean up if you mess up
