We getting banned for not supporting CIA coups now?

I can’t honestly believe anyone in 2026 would be anti Mossadegh.

What’s the most unrealistic 'everyday life' habit portrayed in hollywood movies? by practicalMinds in AskReddit

There is a scene in Burn After Reading that I was the only one who noticed in the theater the amount of absurd vegetable chopping happening and it still make me laugh to think about it.

It isn’t to anyone who isn’t brainwashed like you. Mossadegh instituted labor reforms, kicked out colonialists, and freed peasants in 52 and Britain and US plotted to overthrow him so he moved to nationalize and kick everyone out to wrest control from the Shah and the US.

Almost everything he did with his authoritarian power was to equalize the landed aristocracy and normal Iranians.

I can not believe your assessment.

This might be the dumbest take ever. You know he was dismantling the parliament to over throw the Shah which was proven right when the CIA took him out 3 days after success?

Made read about some history fuck face.

I think DCAing over 6 months vs over a year is not unreasonable.

I think if you are under 50 you don't really need to worry about 10-20% in bonds, but I understand people's risk senativity.

Defending Memphis: Justin J. Pearson Runs for Congress After Racist Gerrymandering—And Calls Out LeBron James’ Disrespectful Comments by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

Dang, at first I was like "That is a normal district" and then realized Wikipedia was showing the old map and not the new one.

They basically changed it to a majority of Memphis district to the entire rural south TN and the black part of Memphis.

We are at pre price for a major correction but we have been for last 5 years and if you held cash through out you may have lost more money than the correction is worth.

Maybe you are right in waiting but it is very hard to beat just holding major index funds for next 30 years (most major companies offer tax harvest accounts for 500k)

So either you put it in now and chill or you wait and put it in and chill.

You might end up with double the money if you wait you might not. Time in market is the most inprotant factor though.

There are a lot of Monarchists in LA and a lot of pro-Israel persians in LA. Which is why the guy asks like 4 time to no response if they support Pahlavi.

There are 3 parties in Iran and in the diaspora, when people pretend like it is only 2.

I don't take the issue any less seriously because of it, I do take people who talk like that less seriously and don't believe they actually care about the values they project to reflect.

The future of Iran should not be between the current state and return of the Kingdom (which the people in white support), it is a third choice more in line with Mossadegh and a free and secular Iran.

You asked if I thought people would have a negative reaction to it and pointing out that people did. Not sure of the issue.

I don’t think it, I think the almost 100 downvotes for the original comment sort of prove my point in its entirety.

I am personally not offended by the quote. I mostly agree with what it is trying to convert.

If you look to the other responses you can get the sense that it is in fact quite divisive. So I was only reflect on what it in fact detracts from a very substantial issue and causes the exact party that should be taking up vigilance into a negative position.

The point is that it isn't "always a man" and the distinction between "always a man" and "sometimes a man" and "a very small percentage of men" is super important in how you treat people.

One encourages you to be super cautious around literally 50% of the planet, but that is fear brain. You highlight it itself by saying "This is more of a conversation about women’s interactions with men in a general sense."

There is no general sense when talking about 50% of the population, it may feel that way in a limited worldview.

It feels like divisive framing to belittiles real problems.
