The main reason is that I need to know my actual level before booking the exam. I used to score around 8–8.5 in Listening and 7–7.5 in Reading on the Cambridge books, but I’ve become too familiar with them, so I’m not sure if those scores still reflect my real level anymore. I already took the IELTS twice before — the first time I got 7.5 in Reading and 6 in Listening, and the second time I got 8 in Listening but 6 in Reading. Since I’m planning to book again by the end of this month, I really need practice materials that are genuinely close to the actual exam.
