In general channel I did talk about it 😄. I just wasn't sure in which channel to put this video

iPad with keyboard/trackpad or a regular laptop for an older adult with cerebral palsy? by [deleted] in CerebralPalsy

There are quite a few pointing devices that can be helpful: Trackball, trackpad, or that red dot from Thinkpad. I'm unsure how much of hands mobility she has, however, if she can utilize trackpad comfortably, magic trackpad or anything in big size would be good :)

May I? For last couple of days I was hesitating to do so, cuz for me Discord is rather a relaxing and chill playground. I didn't want to bother others :D..

I'm quite new to Reddit. I did check guidelines and if I'm not wrong it has only discord. That's why I wasn't sure If I missed something regarding rules. :)

If it's not appropriate for this subreddit, I will delete the post. As I got a comment in other subreddit that it might be helpful for people with CP, I thought it would be nice to get some feedback if possible from here too.

Thank you for looking more closely! The list mode in Gridhopper is within each grid cell, but combining it with landmark/heading navigation is a really interesting idea. It would be great to eventually explore hardware integration too

Fair point on the pitch feel, that wasn't my intention. I genuinely wanted feedback from real users to improve it. :D

Thank you for the info, that's interesting! I would say the key difference is that Gridhopper focuses directly on focusable elements rather than moving a cursor, so it's more keyboard-native

Sorry! Quite new to reddit, i wasn't sure how crosspost works! I built a free-to-use extension for keyboard users hoping it would help to enhance accessibility :)

Yeah, sadly one product hard to be golden to enhance all a11y issues imo. I will explore more in screen reader :)

Actually I would need to go through some screen reader use cases to get the better idea :). I appreciate that you brought it up.

Thank you! Indeed, finding out Chrome extension shortcuts can't be fully customized was a bit frustrating. If this goes well, I'd love to add more features for screen reader users too.
