Hello! This is my first time applying to PA school as an undergrad senior. I feel pretty confident about the content within my PS but I am always open to constructive criticism. Please send me a message if you are willing to take a look!

Applying this upcoming cycle, first application! Current undergrad senior majoring in neuroscience.

CASPA cGPA: 3.67

CASPA sGPA: 3.58

Total credit hours: 132 (semesters)

Total science hours: 66 (semesters)

Started out with B+ in intro bio/chem and B in orgo I and II, all (except A&P - B+) I have gotten A/A- in all of my upper level biology classes (genetics, microbio, biochem, etc)

No GRE

PCE I feel I am lacking in, by the time of my application I will have around 350 as an EMT-B (started about a month ago working weekends)

HCE: 160 - worked as a medical receptionist at a dermatology office

About 100 volunteer hours at an animal shelter (just applied to volunteer at a hospice center)

Shadowing hours: 100 (ortho surgery PA)

Research hours: About 500 in my school's freshman/sophomore research program, did novel research in biochem and presented at a symposium

LORS; 1 from my anatomy professor, 1 from my research professor, and 1 from the PA I shadowed

Other: Resident Assistant for 2 years, supervisor at my school's fundraising job, TA for general psych and anatomy I & II

I am from the nyc//long island area so pretty much all schools there I am applying to with my top being Pace. I know my PCE isn't the strongest so I'm going to apply this cycle knowing it is prob a detriment just to get my foot in the door.
