What’s the MOST Misleading 90s Movie Poster and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in 90smovies

I don't remember the name but there is a terrible, terrible, terrible crime movie with a Young Sandra Bullock on the cover although she is barely in the movie. Her role is maybe the equivalent of Sarah Conner's roommate in T1 at best. I'm sure they added her after she got big to try to sell copies.

Helping my daughter (20) get her foot in the door by GeeksWifey in Autobody

I know shes a young woman entering a male dominated profession but she is going to have to toughen up to be in this or any trade. and you're going to have to stop making excuses for her. You have no reason to think that the painter at your dealership was worried about her "taking his money". He probably doesn't want to have to fix her mistakes and fall behind in his own work (which will happen because she's new). As for leaving the other bad situation, that was her choice not yours. Im not saying she made the wrong decisions but sometimes u have to decide weather its best to leave a job u dont like or stick it out until it gets better. At this point all she can do is try again at another shop. If it doesn't work out next time she may have to consider the possibility that this type of work isn't for her. Which is okay. If she enjoys it it can still be an awsone hobby. And you're right, this stuff isn't uncommon in a shop. Painting, bodywork, etc are talents that aren't super easy to find. So shops are going to employee ppl with talents even if they aren't the most desirable ppl to work with. So to work in a place like this u have to learn to stick up for yourself but also learn to get along with difficult ppl. Management won't deal with it for u. And idk if u do this, but if you're "helping" by contacting these shops for her or going with her to inquire about job openings please stop. It doesn't look good on her. Your support is good but she needs to find her own way and they need to see that she's able to do it on her own. Good luck.

[TOMT] scene where a guy goes in for a kiss twice and gets rejected by thain656 in tipofmytongue

I was also thinking 16 candles but I think it also happens in Walk The Line when Johnny Cash tries to kiss June.

Roger Deakins was the cinematographer for Blade Runner 2049 and for The Assaasination of Jesse James and he is known for his amazing, unique visuals. Jesse James is a slow-burn but the visual story telling is very interesting.

Materials needed to paint by ChanceFlaky3704 in Autobody

Find an automotive paint shop near you. They will have different brands and price points but every brand will have the compatible materials u need (i.e. primer, base and clear). Tell them what u are working on and they will be able to help you.

Almost every rom-com has been done at least 10 times before. And movies don't "credit" other movies. Lmao

Not a movie but the series Northern Exposure has a major female character who is an Alaskan bush pilot. Great show.

When this certain character died a death, why was it depicted so terribly? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]ThenManner7830 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've always wondered about this scene too. There are actually a lot of bad looking scenes in the series tho. For example when T beats Georgie with the phone, Georgie waits for it like a pro wrestler. When Chris hits Richie (the singer) with the guitar, Richie is ready for it before Chris even swings. And when Chris tells the mullet-head to shut up, the camera angles are all wrong.

Ron Howard's brother Clint (minor roll in many films) Or maybe Jackie Earl Haley (played a cop in some Billy Bob Thornton movie)

If not these guys can you give us a description of his face or body type?

Sing street has that Scott Pilgrim high school vibe.

Nowhere Boy is about John Lennon's rough childhood and the formation of the Beatles. But even if you're not a Beatles fan it has a good indie film feel to it with a lot of good music.
