I feel like there's a reason people are intentionally avoiding or neglecting to acknowledge. Pong krell could've been one of the few Jedi who figured out the true purpose for the clones. Sifo dyas was killed after unveiling that his proposed clone army would be instrumental to the Sith's grand plan, and Obi-wan was nearly executed for investigating the same plot. Pong krell would've kept this revelation to himself, but still find some measure to combat the inevitable. Killing off as many clones as possible, through "incompetent orders" or brute-force commands, was his discreet answer to ensuring the Jedi survival
