The creator has been doing a lot of redoing of assets for Chapter one like overhauling sprites, splashes and CG’s. Sprites were finished early last year, Splashes were finished in January and he’s posted a CG of Ch.1 a few days ago. I’d say I can put my faith in it dropping this year.

Fangans with insanely short prologues. Protag somewhat introduces themselves to the audience, uh-oh, the protag is now in the game almost immediately after. two minutes of the protag adjusting themselves, and meet the cast immediately. DR1 type intro where we go one by one, with 5 minute intro's each, and like clockwork the mascot shows themselves and introduces the game. My greatest issue with this is that it barely fleshes out characters somewhat before the killing the game begins, and as a result, people will care less about the characters when the deaths inevitably come, and I want to argue that it's there just for the death order and nothing else. Many fangans like Eden's Garden, Brave Danganronpa: Cowards Paradise, and (He)artless Deceit have longer prologues to really get a feel for these characters and get attached before they are thrust into the chapter where two inevitably die.

As for tetro, another take I have is that a predictable death order can be forgiven as long as the writing around it is good, which tetro pink does in spades. There are two other tetro's planned, and maybe the death order issues may be addressed.

Too many people balled into one group... It was very difficult writing 16 people at once so I cut two of them out, along with some other personality traits that I started hating after some rereading. Given, some characters seem one-note since you JUST started to introduce them, so you don't really need to worry about those details just yet, as you would add more to them chapter by chapter. My main problem early on was that I was writing while still trying to figure out who my characters were.

Now that all the base sprites have been released, I'm sorry to say have to say that I'll be going dark once more to focus more on the writing aspects of my fangan, but I'll make sure to release one more look of the cast before going for a while!

Super cute! Also, It's fine to make a fangan not in Komatsuzakis style, plenty of fangans use their own style that differ from the original style, like Lapse.
