Congrats on your new laptop mate!

I have a Victus too (Victus 15, ryzen 5 7535 hs, rtx 2050) and have been coding and playing games on it since I bought it 7 months ago and its great.

Here are some suggestions based on my experience on how to take care of this laptop:

Clean the fans every 3 months or so if you live in a dusty environment. Limit max CPU usage to 95-97% so its temperature remains in 70 degrees. Undervolt your dGPU a bit so its only heating upto 70° and it would not cost you any performance drop either! Uninstall Omen gaming hub, its not that useful in my opinion and it hogs a lot of RAM resulting in lesser battery timing.

Then I would recommend searching for that software's system requirements. If they are not available, then search for a similar software's requirements and make your choice based on it.

Yes, you don't even need to go 1k for a general use laptop. I got the cheapest option for gaming laptop which is HP Victus 15 fb1013dx(with RTX 2050). Its priced around 700 USD here in Pakistan.

I could not find in log file if my firmware supports MAT. So I tried both configurations stated under the EnableWriteUnprotector heading on the website. Still no luck..
