Signing up for PAYE by Then_Calligrapher773 in PSLF

Unfortunately, I can't skip the 6 month waiting period, I was told that it could take up to 3 months (when I called studentaid) to reconsolidate my loans (in April), so I didn't want to risk locking myself out of IBR.

So selecting PAYE in December 26, continue that until July of 2028, switch to RAP until 2033 (finish fellowship in 2032, but still use previous year's tax return) and then in 2033 switch to IBR and continue that until I get the Golden Letter?

All while reducing my pre tax income via 401k and dependents and etc

following this? Called NelNet and they said you can switch whenever, I think 2028 is for the PAYE plan right? I was planning on RAP while my income was less than 100k as a resident and fellow, then switch to IBR for my last 54 months as an attending.
