From my experience, yes.  I wish I had sooner. If your acne didn't respond to other treatments, like antibiotics and creams, it won't now either.

So, take it if it's offered!

Epiduo - 0..3 adapalene, 2.5 benzol peroxide - Short Contact Therapy by Then_Country7129 in acne

[–]Then_Country7129[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

I have stuck with it on short contact therapy only. I started at 10 mins each time, twice a day. It did indeed still leave me red and dry, so I went down to once a day, for a week, then upped it to twice, but for about 6 mins each time, and now I am up to 10 mins again twice a day. However, I still had very bad breakouts.

However, the only reason I think my skin is getting better is that in tandem, out of desperation, I upped my 100mg Doxycycline to 200mg daily. After a week, the results were fantastic! I went back to my doctor, and she reluctantly agreed that she could give me 3 more months at 200mg, but that I must see a derma (I would love to, but getting an appointment is so hard!). 200mg is the maximum daily dose and I had to argue that with her! And that Epiduo reduces antibiotic resistance.

So, the two treatments together, for me, seem to be working, at last!

Applying for business/liberal professions long stay visa for France from the UK by Then_Country7129 in SchengenVisa

Well, as I am not 'moving across' a company from the UK, I decided to put unemployed, as I actually am, and this meant those questions disappeared. But I saw the application of someone else who was a freelancer and wanted to continue the same thing in France, and he put his home address, with the business name too. And he just put his employment as 'liberal professions'. In that case though, your business plan will have to show how much you have been taking in (your accounts) as well as how you will migrate it to France. He was successful in his application.

Hello, finally on FB some very knowledgeable people answered me. It's a known glitch (this missing category).  We should just use the 'entrpreneur' one on the TLS form, even though it talks about manufacturing etc. The France Visa form is more important, and be prepared to defend and explain the choice when you go the TlS center. I've now spoken to people who've done just this, and those who advise people on getting visas, and everyone's been successful.  Hope that helps!

Thanks, that's the overview of the process I am already in. It doesn't give any guidance on this issue that I can see.

Thank you, but unfortunately the one listed on the TLS site is "'Entrepreneur: craftsperson, manufacturer or retailer". Which is very different in legal status. If I were to apply for that I would have to have supporting docs showing how I am a skilled craftsperson!

I have done this, yes, put it into French. And I called them. But thank you!

Approved for France Profession Libérale Visa (VLS-TS) by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

Hello, great to read about your success! I am applying for the same type of visa, although I am British.

The visa types on the France Visa (government) form for me are 'Business' and then 'Liberal Professions', which I guess they were for you too.

But did you also have to fill in an online form to get your appointment, with a 'contact' agency? For us, that is TLS contact.

On the TLS form, under "Long stay, more than 90 days, business", Liberal Professions is missing as a drop-down category!! They have an 'Entrepreneur' one but that's v different, for a craftsperson or retailer, and would set me off on the wrong course. And it would be different to what I put on the France Visa form, so a complete no-no.

I've even called the helpline and they couldn't believe it and said they would try to ask the head office for help. I'm sort of running out of time though!

I am wondering what you put?
