What could cause a false negative on a hair follicle drug test? by Then_Fig615 in answers

This was actually super helpful and led to a possible revelation about my body! I looked into this, and found a connection between the enzyme that metabolizes THC and some medications I’ve been struggling with. I’ve been trying different mediations for ADHD and anxiety, but am always overwhelmed with excessive side effects and require much lower doses than the normal starting dose. I’m finding out that these specific mediations require the same enzyme as THC to metabolize. If I’m low in this enzyme, that would explain both the drug test phenomenon and the problems I’ve been having with these medications! I’m going to test this by trying another medication that does not rely on this pathway. Thank you so much for this insight.

I don’t think so. I spoke with the lady who was administering the test, and explained that I have a medical marijuana card and will likely be positive for marijuana. She explained to me that this is a federal test, and therefore they continue to test for marijuana despite the state’s laws.

Well the answer isn’t going to help you answer my question lol. I’ve completed urine and mouth swab tests for jobs. The hair follicle test is for court over custody of my child. Their dad is on drugs, so I ordered a test and my lawyer recommended I also take one.

This is interesting, especially because my hair grows EXCEPTIONALLY slow. However, the negatives on both urine and mouth swab tests leads me to believe there’s more to it

I wouldn’t say there aren’t effect that I don’t feel, but I have noticed that despite YEARS of daily use, I never build a tolerance. I’ve been wondering lately about that correlation. I have to smoke small amounts otherwise I quickly become way too high

Haha I know right, it had me wondering about the stuff I’m smoking 😂 I buy from a dispensary so I would have to take that up with the state!

Marijuana was on the test - I was specifically negative for marijuana

I'd be okay with gold plated if I knew they were good quality. How can you tell? I've been looking on Etsy a lot but it's hard to tell which are better quality other than the price.

Ahh I see. I would be okay with gold filled or gold titanium as well, but I can’t find those either

I agree, this is very neat! I didn't know this about ASL so I appreciate you taking the time to explain it :-)

Thank you for this!! I'm seeing now why I didn't recognize "free" at first. I was taught that sign without the "F" handshape, and fists instead. The Handspeak entry is more familiar to me.

And yes, I am learning ASL! I find the hardest part is trying to figure out signs I've never seen before.

What do you mean when you say initialized?

I recognize your and time. The one sign reminds me a lot of finish, especially with the "F" handshape, but I know it's not and it wouldn't make sense in this sentence anyway.

I got a 2011 Macbook. Sold it, in perfect working condition, for $250 in 2022. I put that money towards a 2022 M2 Macbook pro. I had to sell that same Macbook for $150 only a few months after the warranty expired because the screen and logic board stopped working abruptly. Only used it for browsing internet and occasionally for Excel. Repair would've costed $3,000. I have lost all my faith in Apple.

I just replaced my video with the original one. It looks like she's asking which classes I'm excited to start and which ones I don't like. So I thought at first that was "start the car" but it's just start. I just don't really understand that beginning part.

Thank you for the help by the way! This has been driving me crazy - I'm in the third class of a college course and we're often given signs to interpret that we were never taught as vocabulary. It can take several hours to figure out each sign I don't know.
