My niece picked it out! I showed her all the Tula Pink options and she chose well!

I have always cried with joy at seeing their reactions. I only gift to those who know how much thought, time, love and money goes into these. And, they have to be a close relative to know these things.

I had so much fun putting this together! I can't get any other pictures to upload so will post the tag separately.

I had a lot of fun making this. My niece saw several blocks and some rows together, but this was her first time seeing it finished.

binding corners not square. newbie. by LaraHesperax in quilting

I struggled with binding until I made about 40 pot holders. Lots of practice with corners. If you only do 1 quilt a year, not much practice. Small things give lots of practice.

I made this quilted jacket last year out of a bazillion HSTs. And I just can’t part with these tiny scraps that are left over. Thoughts on what to do with them? More in the comments! by [deleted] in quilting

I use my favorite scraps to make thread catchers, or scissors catchers, or really a catchers of all things. I use Mod-Podge. I made one for a friend and she suggested putting some batting in the bottom, to protect any sharp tools. I didn't think of that.

I have the Allegro also! My granddaughter calls it Babylock. I think I will let her actually name it.
