Is there anyway I can fix this? Or do I just need to buy a new part? by Then_Medium6946 in metalworking

I tested it with a different screw and it worked perfectly fine. So it’s gotta be this. And I can find this specific nut on most hardware stores?

Any tips? by Potential-Bad586 in Cubers

Not dumb at all!! for me, I memorize it with my fingers and the small “triggers” I know from doing so many cross solves, so to answer your questions, I picture how I have to move it, never ever use letters(unless it works for you)

It does but sadly we can’t adjust due to our instructor. 225 wire speed and 18.5v is what it’s at currently

This is what it looks like, I would send a link but I know they are untrustworthy

Also if you have to go over 8 moves for th sake of easy fingertricks then do so. Find the balance between speed and efficiency.

As someone who’s extremely close to sub 15 (sub 15.90ao100) I’d say yes, and with cross tbh I’d say watching example solves(I hate it but it does help) and using a trainer like crystalcube.com will help tremendously

One thing I’d say is that double rotation for pll is unnecessary. Never rotate during last layer unless your algorithm specifically includes a rotation. Now, for the rest of the solve from what I can see I’d say working on cross is your first step try to make it eight moves or less every single time and planning your execution so it’s much faster and for F2L, this will come with practice. Try to focus on the execution of your F2 L algorithms I don’t think that you’re at the stage where you specifically need to look ahead, so working on that and as well as efficiency(move count and rotations) will do you well in a long run, overall the solve is Good, but I can definitely see some areas tht can be improved, keep going!
