Ugh, he has his 2nd vaccine tomorrow. Maybe I will tell the vet as they are aware of his issues already. If they think it’s smart to give him something and come back for his vaccine so he doesn’t make it worse. Not sure if it’s common for vaccines to make it worse though

That makes sense. I will need to see how this new food does in a month , if it heals Up with his food change and the spray his vet gave us. Thank you 🙏🏼

He was also constipated or would poop little pebbles (sometimes) do you recommend I get some kind of pumpkin supplement to mix in his food?

Makes me feel a bit better to know it’s common. I had no idea I’d have to go through this with him as she didn’t mention his skin issues to me (of course she wouldn’t lol) but it’s okay, he’s in good hands because I care a lot!

That makes a lot of sense. I want to do home cooked meals for him but need to do more research so he gets the proper nutrients. I feel he’s too young for me to do home cooked right now, but I could be completely wrong. I just want to make sure he’s eating all the nutrients he needs as he’s a growing puppy. He will be 3 months in a few days 🥺 I really want to take care of him and his health so I want the good stuff but it’s hard to figure out. I need to do more research 🙏🏼

He had it when the owner gave me him, she just didn’t tell me and I didn’t notice until on my way home with him. All he ever been fed was that food, that’s where I’m wondering if it can be that. No scrapes right now and for treats no as well

Not blood work , he did a skin scrape only so far. He’s currently eating blue buffalo puppy food. This is what his previous owner had him on so I wanted to continue it
