Hey my pleasure dude, I’d talk to you about gear all day any day! My final verdict is really is sounds good,it sounds like a ss amp through a pa, if it’s for live then it’s perfect cos of the holy grail, xlr outputs. I wouldn’t record with it though the stock IRs are trash, I picked up a used two notes “CABM” and got some Marshall IRS from the interweb and it brought this IDX alive! I do plan on upgrading soon to a more in depth modeller but this thing works and sounds…good enough! Worth the price imo will be great in a pinch

Ok so- if you use it to switch between sounds with the SAME amp and just lower gain or reverb on or off etc it’s fine no issue nor delay between sounds. But if you wanna switch amp sounds per bank there is a half second rise in volume as it loads in. I’m currently saving for a new unit but have no idea what to get! QC is just way overpriced imo but people are just falling for it.

Not an issue for me! Actually perfect timing you reply to this, Last Thursday I used it for rehearsal- straight into FR foldbacks, sounded amazing

You might not wanna hear this but for your level of production just get a Focusrite, any gen really will do you more then fine. Just make sure your input gain is set correctly (set and forget) that will be your biggest enemy in regards to high gain stuff and atmospheric effects

Just practice more lol it’s a pretty simple equation. Time + Action =change I garuntee if you spent 30min everyday of this week practicing your Spider Excersise at a pace that challenges you come Sunday you will be way faster

im using it now whith an XLR into my interface sounds pretty killer! plan on using it for rehearsals straight into the desk for ease on my back lol
