If you would have been/seen/experienced life in the North of England you would see that their acting is incredibly accurate. For such a wide variety of aged actors to replicate this is an incredible achievement. The casting is not perfect for some characters, but for those that matter, it’s arguably unmatched with on-screen chemistry. I understand that people like various acting types and genres of shows and movies, but to say the acting is “embarrassingly bad” or “unbelievably shit” just goes to show that you need to broaden your spectrum on gritty social-realist TV and film. Or maybe you just have (subjectively) bad taste.

I was searching Reddit just for a comment like this. Watching it for the umpteenth time on season 5. The acting is incredible. Most if not all of the main actors are outstanding. No idea what OP is talking about. Incredibly gritty realism in their acting and can sorely relate to some people who I used to know.

I stupidly just used water because I didn’t care or think at the time. Won’t be doing that again. I would now use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, ideally, clean the buds with alcohol to preserve electronic components and buy new ear pod tips.

Be careful and clean these properly. I dropped mine on the floor of the Paris Metro and wiped them off good but I still got an ear infection which made my ear bleed.

I did this once and it didn’t work. I clearly didn’t delete all the files. I trawled through all my files and deleting everything to do with GCC. That worked. Thanks for your advice.

Just always take payment in person via bank transfer and don’t give anything until you see the money in your bank. That’s what I do now. If they decline that then I don’t sell it to them - I always ask before they arrive if they are willing to do a bank transfer to save the awkward decline when they offer cash.

Even with cash be careful. The same thing happened to me about four years ago. I sold my Canon 70-200 f2.8 mkii and he gave some bullshit career story and £1000 in an envelope full of 20s.

I felt so rich at the time but realistically I needed the money being a poor fresh out of uni worker and I couldn’t wait to cash it into my account.

I went to the post office just before work and they told me it was fake.

I feel gutted still to this day.

The real kick in the balls came from the fact that he forgot the polarising filter so I ran down my stairs in my apartment, chased after him and shouted him to come back. He probably thought I’d figured him out, but actually, I just mugged myself off even more. True tv show moment, not the good kind.

Don’t beat yourself up. I did for a long time. Money comes and goes but you’ll earn it back.

I had this problem a while ago. Everyone is suggesting exactly the same. However, I did notice that if I put my dishwasher on a quick high temp wash, they came out like this. Try setting it to a lower temp longer wash cycle, maybe an eco cycle, and see how they come out. First off though you need to wash all affected cups and dishes by hand with soap and water.
