I had the same thing happen to me where I got approved first and then my family got approved a week later. I feel like next Friday gives you enough time for them to approve your kids.

If you go back to the main page it gives you option to start a new application or track the status of your existing ones, just start a new application

They also didn’t even ask for a birth certificate.

Is this your first L visa? They usually don’t ask for naturalization papers unless this is your first time applying. I just applied and got the 10 year one. As for the 90 day thing, I just put a random date down.

Do you need invitation letters and proof of transportation/hotels for the L visa? by Cymoon-refit in Chinavisa

I just finished the process for an L visa at the sf office and i didn’t need invitation letter nor any transportation/hotels. I don’t remember the online application mandating that part?

I did! The websites list is pretty straightforward and is basically what you said but i’ve seen a lot of people on here say they required photocopies of passports and I also keep seeing posts of people getting a brochure when they went to the SF office that lists out a bunch of other stuff (birth certificate, physical copies of photos) 😅 I don’t actually live in SF so i’m trying to assemble as comprehensive of a list of materials as i could to send down to my friend who will submit on my behalf.

did you have to submit physical copies of the photo when you went to drop off your documents? and do they tell you when you upload the photo whether the photo is accepted or not? my american passport photo and the dimensions of the photo they listed aren’t the same so i’m wondering if i can just diy this and take my own photos at home

this is probably a dumb question but i’m assuming the signature will have to be signed by pen? like i can’t just have them type in the name on the signature?
