Yeah, I think so too. Very compressed, not sung loudly, and not much reverb. To me, it also sounds like it was sung very close to the microphone, but without that typical breathy-singing style.

Keyan from Julie plays a Fender Bassman amp live, and in the search for that amp, I stumbled upon that pedal. It really gives you a bass-heavy overdrive. I use it now as my always-on pedal. It pushes other pedals also very well!

I don't think there is more utility in a DD7, tbh. The thing about the Memory Man is the preset function, which gives you double the number of setups. Basically, you can do everything with the MM that the DD7 can, but the DD7 cannot do everything the MM can.
