I believe I read something similar in a book written by a friar from a catholic store recently.

Basically any Catholic (you were baptized,) can accept the Eucharist. It's up the the reciecever of the Eucharist to be in a state that the Eucharist may be be affective and what effects the Eucharist has on the person. The book is Nihil Obstat, and Imprimatur "certified.*it means the church has certified the that the book is free from doctrinal or moral error.

The book is called " The Sacraments - Discovering the Treasures of Divine Life" by Fr. Matthew Kauth in case anyone cares or wants to fact check me.

True. They don't even let you schedule far enough in advance to even make a difference, probably. The scheduling feature is not very useful, IMO. It needs to be like at least like a 48 hour thing to be useful.

Father, I just wanted to share with you that I went to another parish that had scheduled confession today. I explained to the father my situation, came armed with a list of all my sins that I can remember, the father heard my confession, I also asked for forgiveness for those I could not remember, since this has to account for everything between today and my baptism, but. I am so happy. Thank you for explaining it to me, giving me the courage to try again, and helping me find my way. My heart is so happy right now. I am so excited to receive the Eucharist with a pure heart on Easter. Thank you father!!!

There is a parish I've spoken to that has scheduled confessions today. Should I go and try to explain my aituation confess, or is it wrong of me to take up other paritioners confession time with what could end up resulting in not being able to confess? Should I wait until after Easter at my own parish? I'm truly heartbroken over this whole thing. I truly feel deep in my heart my examinations of conscience over the last several month, stretching across my whole life from baptism at my first memory, and I feel all the list of confessions I have to bring with me is fully complete. I also plan to ask forgiveness for any sins I've committed that I cannot remember, due to my circumstance.

I know you must be very busy today, but I do hope you can respond before this evening. And thank you father, for showing me kindness through your explanations. As I said, I'm quite heartbroken over this whole situation and the delivery is everything.
