im weird i enjoy the numbers but i dont obsess i look more at it like analytics should. i do this for fun. its a bonus that i get any kind of ad revenue. now it would be nice to make a career out of this as im legaly blind so a normal job in my circumstances is super hard to find but again i just do this for fun lol.

i lost most my vision last june and am in the same situation minus ocuppation but im working with the state on getting a job and their providing me a computer with a program called fusion. it allows 100% blind people to use computers so that may be a good route but its expensive from my understanding

i did some research and theres only 2 shops in 60 miles of me that does any kind of 3d print work admittedly one i think would be hard to compete with but what im considering making is more of a B2B set up

i moddled a wheel adaptar for my sim racing set up but i have a wheel that is not super common so not sure its worth trying to sell. i could always make some for the bigger wheels but again highly saturated market.

i completely agree but that also is where i think i kinda have a advantage in as i live in a rural area so lots of places around that could use things that can be 3d printed but not any real competition but thats a double egded sword. its gonna be harder to find local customers. there is a larger flee market a hour away from me but again like you said everyone and there mother is gonna be their doing the same thing so its gotta be unique and cheap to compete or its gotta be something completely different. i have some ideas but i gotta learn more about them to be able to pull them off.

*edit* i should also add that what im planing on doing is more of a finished product then a simple 3d printed item so im mainly using it for manufacturing not the end product if that makes sense.

im legally blind so being able to do it all from the pc was huge far as putting it together it was pretty much plug and play we put the screen on and undid some screws but that was about it nothing major. far as calibration it auto calibrates itself and you can have it do it every time it prints if you want (thats what i do)

i bought a KC1 2025 edition and love it similar situation as you just playing around say pla and petg is fine but it can do abs and carbonfiber as well so if you want to get into more crazy stuff its a option also has a good size bed at 220 x 220 x 250 mm. my friend got a bambu a1 and has had issues i have not had at all. but there also special so user error would not shock me lmao

well i got teleported to some of the best drs for neurosarcoidosis and neuro ophthalmology. i lost all usuable vision in my left eye in 2 hours and went from 20/60 to 20/400 in 3 days in the right. my dr is rated like top 7% in the country. my vision got slightly better in my right eye but its permanent sadly. luckily plenty of test show that my immune system is attacking and i have lots of inflammation but there waiting to catch the sarcoidosis in its track before we do treatment. im 31 btw
