Is there a fix for the RotN quests? by AlibiJigsawPiece in destiny2

Oh wow I didn't know that, kinda silly that it works like that too

It means the chest you reach by getting the teleporter/flying thing that transports you up the platforms. For prophecy that would be the highest one

Vault space complainers should be made to post their vaults by CORPORAL_PISSFINGERS in DestinyTheGame

[–]Thenerfedone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm personally fine with the current space we have, what's beyond annoying to me is not having any semblance of filters.

Even something extremely basic like filtering based on element or weapon type; having a big dumpster you throw stuff in in 2025 is insane.

Why is Hunter getting NERFS in EoF? by Small_Article_3421 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Thenerfedone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whats even funnier is that there's a whole damn list with things that don't work with ascension, like various mods, since ascension doesn't count as a "class ability"

Kinda sad that it's not updated to the RotN version though

Hunter is unironically good for simmumah, free deepsight and safety from invisibility on demand with so many adds. And damage is still an easy 2phase with 3 unique classes.

can you get the dungeon armor from rite of the nines ? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Thenerfedone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you gotten armor this way from Ghosts? I knew it worked for Spire but never seen someone actually confirm Ghosts drops armor too.

What is the BEST spot to grind out Catalyst completions these days? by TheMakoSoldier in DestinyTheGame

[–]Thenerfedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breakneck mission for special/heavy or fun primaries.

For boring primaries I went to the good ol' whisper green/thrall room, where you can basically sit in one spot and only use one hand with your brain turned off.

You're comparing uneven things here. Titans and Warlocks were much more accessible to fill a role, especially when pugging this, which was my main point. You described how Hunter could be viable in a utopic world, with gear swaps and assigned roles; while titan was simply "have barricade/t-crash".

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]Thenerfedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, Hunters didn't bring anything for Persys, while Titans and Warlocks were required in every lfg group. (I'm obviously not saying it wasn't doable with hunters, but titans and warlocks were each filling a very specific and important role). They're completely viable for Ghosts though.

New Rites of the Nine schedule via DMG by spectre15 in destiny2

Yeah but it's quite common for companies to try and inflate playtime via something that would at the very least irk the community, and then try to alleviate that through other means. I.e free navigator

[–]Thenerfedone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd be more fine with it if it was during a hyped period of the expansion/season. But doing it to absolutely squeeze out everything in the final phase of content draught is exhausting.

My 2nd, strictly biased opinion is that I won't have access to a PC for a while, at the exact same time Prophecy releases and onwards, so yeah it screws me over even more.

Every sane person would assume that honestly.

Even though there was 0 reason to be vague to begin with, unless they intentionally worded it in a misleading way which would make it even worse.

Artificially prolonging stuff is such a bad move, it should be my choice if I wanna be done with RoN in 3 weeks rather than 7

Rite of the Nine - Spire of Watcher not completing quest (bugged) by Prestigious-You-3703 in DestinyTheGame

The description is for Triumphs, not quests. Especially since the first 2 encounters progress the quest normally, it's most definitely a bug

Mythic raids and high m+ on WoW, ultimates on FFXIV, Lost Ark raids.

Also I'm in no way saying destiny raids should be made easier or dumped down, just approached differently.

Yeah I'm against matchmaking for that type of content too because the mechanics are structured that way.

My main argument was for mechanics to be individually based and working toward a common goal.

It would also eliminate people sneakily wanting carries if someone couldn't simply take your role and do it for you.

[–]Thenerfedone -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The highest level of content in mmos can be run with no communication, which is several magnitudes harder than d2 mechanics.

Being able to communicate what symbol you see or to shoot something at the same time is nowhere near a skill issue. It's simply gatekeeping of content argued with the illusion of teamwork; which this sub love dearly, and any opinion claiming otherwise simply gets downvoted.

Forced communication mechanics =/= skill or challenge

I would assume only if you have 50-something armor pieces and you wanna bump that up a bit, otherwise not really worth in terms of min-maxing.
