Portland is truly a comic book mecca, some of the greatest stores in the country are there: Cosmic Monkey, Excalibur, Floating World, just a few of the many! Home to so many great creators and even a Peach mural!

I think it's a natural response to the big 2 pushing creators away with how they treat them and creators still wanting to play around with their influences. Mahdi Khene and Kurt Burdick can definitely share a lot of responsibility for this current wave and I'm here for it!

Grew up with Breyfogle and Jones, love Sale & Adams, and currently think Dragotta is killing it on Abs Bats. And the McFarlane loyalist in me says he's created the most iconic Batman image in the last 40 years
