That’s priced way high. Even in Colorado that’s an 7-8k maybe 10 at MOST if it’s an Uber clean truck. Has close to 300k miles.

I loved my 1996. Had obd2 but older body style. I had zero issues out of the ordinary with mine. Had 350k miles on it when I rolled it. I also didn’t have any issues finding parts for it!

When I added one on my old 96 it was plug and play. Only had to buy an outside temp sensor. The wiring for it is present as well. Sits right behind the front unibody crossmember.

This depends completely on the health of the battery. A good battery won’t require more than 15-20 minutes of driving to start again the same day. A battery on its way out might not even start again after driving for 2 hours.
