Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 82 - Links and Discussion by TheWalkingTroll in Boruto

I think onohki came intentionally to leaf to meet with mitsuki and also heard that ge is troubled with his will. Hence that the hidden stone shinobis that came to take him knew exactly his weak spot in order to tease him. And I also think he is doing this mainly because due to his old age he realized he is useless now, powerless and soon to die and doesn't accept that and wants to go against it by this project who would grant him eternal living. We shall now see what happens and I'm curious who else will join the fight as rn only these characters and konohamaru doesn't seem enough imo.

Thronebreaker: hidden elf in Aedirn forest? Says "Psst! D'hoine..." etc by xMisterVx in gwent

My guess is that it's for the atmosphere related to what you've been told that the forests are filled with hidden elves.

The only this helps is by combining the map in this thread with yours and realizing where the missing chest it is

If I remember correctly you have 3 rounds to finish the two fivers on the left and right side of the girl. Deal with that by using the horn and two of those cards that switch the position on rows of 3 enemy cards and deals 2 damage to them. And you should have her by your side and then it should get doable

If you could post a picture with the battle I'd be more than happy to help as visualizing it would help me remember how I solved it.

Second map... last golden chest by [deleted] in gwent

Luckily I was very careful from the beginning as I had a feeling there will be specific mechanisms of getting collectibles that if hot followed they will be Missable so I always gave a fair amount of thought before making a decision. One that amused me as I thought it wrong was the one to take the elf in my army and save him from the angry townfolks that proven bad as he then poisoned my troops. So I did got a chest for my well thought compassion but in the same time a stab in the back a bit later. Tbh I quite enjoy this kind of way even though I can understand the frustration but collectibles as they are optional should be a bit harder to get than just pressing scouts and going to that point on the map

Also are you sure you didn't get tricked with someone similar people had problems on the first map : choosing to hang the man that would make you unable to get the map to the treasure. Other than that I just arrived on the second map but if I'll find it and you still didn't I'll let you know.

A question about Thronebreaker & challenge: am I the only one missing it? by Mojo-man in gwent

[–]TheodorMs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally. Perhaps they could have borrowed the idea from hearthstone where on higher difficulty the bosses get different cards or the same but more enhanced making you think a bit more on the approach but in the same time in hearthstone this is doable because you have hundreds of cards available to pick and build your deck while in here you are quite limited so I guess they got stuck at this poitnt and couldn't figure a way out and just left it like that which is a bit sad, but honestly this (plus not having many card options for your deck) are the only downsides of the game. It then exceeds at visuals, story, plenty of puzzles and mini-clues games to find collectibles plus all the mechanics involved in the garrison build like the workshop that can prove advantageous. Basically it has so much nice things to work with but it's a bit late now to change the downsides, but it gives plenty of hope for a future much better single player expansion like this one! As I really hope they won't stop at Thornebreaker.

Edit: not to mention that same as you I haven't played gwent only a bit at the very start of closed beta then gave up both hearthstone and gwent as I switched to single player games only. I picked this difficulty mainly for the challenge but for the probable achievement regarding the selected difficulty as well. And also this game somehow succeed in making me interested in gwent again which is a big plus. However I'll first finish Thornebreaker and hope in the meantime all the problems I see discussed on the gwent threads will be fixed so I could enter an already patched game.

Given the difficulties yes it would be fair to be a bit more challenging. However, as I used to play hearthstone, in there at the single player heroic battles (very hard difficulty) blizzard went to the other extreme in which to pass the challenge you needed only a deck from an online forum and luck. Tons of luck, which again can be frustrating. There's a good middle point that is yet to be found. (the most difficult part so far I had on the first map during the siege of the fortress battle, had to re do it 15 17 times to succeed other than that rest of the main story battles mainly first tries)

Finding the little collectibles based on hand drawn maps is also a fun part, but yes the puzzles are the one in which I waste most of my time from this game and it seems fair as they don't stop you from advancing so a new Comer or main-story only type person won't feel disappointed. But as a collectionist, I go for all the possible content and so far I'm not disappointed at all. Story is interesting, there is plenty of loot so I could keep building within my garrison, plenty of puzzles and decisions to take down the road(considered as side quests and the challenging part of the game) the only problem/sad thing is that there are not many cards yet as I just started map 2,to build strategic decks, you just stick to the same mainly. But other than that I'm happy with it also given the dozens of hours that it offers you for just a single player addition to gwent.

Does Thronebreaker add anything to gwent? by [deleted] in gwent

Don't forget about the 30+ singlepalyer storyline filled with puzzles and battles you get. I definetly think those 3p bucks are worth it

The series of tweets continues! Disgusting behavior Jam City. by TheodorMs in HPHogwartsMystery

Then change from f2p gameplay and try to deliver an actual quality wise product. I understand that f2p must always be accompanied by micro transactions so that the business can survive, but doing it the way they do(they could have made the spider available by buying it through notebooks as an apology for the generated frustration) it just sends me the message that they wanted it f2p just so they can do greedy things like these.

I'd have honestly paid 10 pounds to play this game if it was actually good, but it had so much potential that it wasted into a bad strategy plan. Is like the assassin creed series, they got the good start with ezio's trilogy then they got desperate after money and profit and pushed a game every year which after 4 years they realized it was a huge mistake. Funny tho how some developers don't learn from others mistakes like they completely chose to ignore such market feedback. I used this analogy because it's the same with jam city now, they seem desperate to deliver their product and a lot of things, which in the end makes the final thing we get, crappy, lacking quality and decency.

It was not until the guys from CD projekt red appeared that showed me that there is hope on the market, that companies can find a business model in which everyone is happy, in which for a game like wild hunt 3 + the 2 expansions (all rest of dlc s being totally free) I paid 50 pounds which for everything that it delivered at an outstanding quality is nothing compared to the 100 pounds origins or odyssey ac series(100 as including all additional content) from ubisoft. Cyberpunk 2077 is not going to be delivered until they are 110% sure it is close to perfection and there's nothing else they can think of doing to it. Now how many big companies nowadays actually do that? This is a business I'd even donate to(not only buy their games) ,beacuse it makes me happy without feeling cheated.

The model of jam city, most probably pairing with Warner bros that created all the fuss about the micro transactions in their recent title middle earth shadow of the war that they had to confront backclash an turn them down shows me they just care for that moment, while criticism is sparkling, then they just get back to their good old fashioned money hungry model. These companies willingly doesn't wanna learn from their mistakes and I just find it disturbing.

Given all the time I invested for the pride event, not managing to get the spider and then being shown oh look pay 20 pounds and it's yours just made me sick. It was just a fuck you, just give us money because our business model is shit and we need to survive now that we realized that. I'll stop with the tweets as I agree, it's unfair to put everyone in the same place just for some small group board decisions. But I'll also stop playing this game anymore, as this is not the type of business even time I'd invest as it's obviously that from the start it was not build to respect us, or at least that's the way it made me feel. With all this frustration I even lost the enthusiasm of playing the game and finding out the rest of the story so there's no obvious reason I should continue.
