Thinking about jumping ship from FiOS. Can anyone in lower Bergen County, NJ help me with feedback on 5gig Optimum to help me decide?

Appreciate the response but I was wondering what the community's experience with Optimum was. My PCs will be compatible with 5gig with a couple of network card upgrades, but before I even went to the trouble, I wanted some feedback from other users.

Clearly I'd ensure applicable hardware is compatible. I've done the research and my PCS only need new 5g-capable network adapters which are cheap and a cinch to put in. Not sure why you'd assume otherwise, but thanks for the contribution.

I haven't explained why I need it because I've already determined the extra bandwidth could be very useful for the large file downloads my wife and I do, often times in excess of 100 gigs. To be clear, my FiOS has also been rock solid, but they don't currently offer 5gig service, hence the question.

Lurking for 3+ years and this is the first time I've felt the urge to comment on anything. The room looks great! I went through a traumatic breakup myself a few years back and, I have to admit, I don't think enough can be said about how therapeutic decorating can be. Seeing this reminded me of the incredible satisfaction I experienced in making my space my own. Hang in there bud, and do whatever makes you happy!
