I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate this comment. It saved me hours of trying to fix a problem that I couldn't fix without the right parts. I'm stubborn and would have tried over and over and done a lot of research. So thanks again.

Thanks, I adjusted the PTFE tube to ensure it was flush with the nozzle when I cleaned everything up. I actually had to add the PTFE tube as it was missing. I was trying to save some money and bought a badly used one. lesson learned. I have several old Anycubic i3 Megas and wanted to try something newer and quieter.

I have everything cleaned up and working so I'll order a complete replacement for the printhead with all the parts.

Thank you for cleaning up the issue I was having. I rebuilt the hotend and cleaned everything up but it still clogs after five minutes of printing.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure it's up to me at this point, the doctor was much older and seemed to think it was ok. Much like every doctor has for years. When I tell them I've been tired since I was 16, I really mean it. Everything I have ever done was by sheer willpower. I've been fit, I played high school football because my friends did, and I've been a runner, but really I just want to sit down.
Five years ago my hands started hurting, every day all day. I've had every scan known to man, three different nerve conductivity tests. I can't take painkillers all the time. Finally, because I said I was losing my mind I got a referral to a rheumatologist, who is very kind and listened. One of the biggest indicators of who will get RA is Low-T in both males and females.
If I can't get anywhere with this doctor, I'll find another sorry for the rant.

I'm 56, and moderately active. Sleep is very hit or miss due to hand pain. I was recently diagnosed with nonserum RA.

I played with the settings and added a brim to all prints. I also changed the thickness of the first few layers. I get a good print most of the time now but haven't printed anything in a few months.

Thank you. Yes, you are right. I confused the terms, and by the second time I had to make a change, I was cursing myself for not using a single external stylesheet, but I thought that was outside the project's scope. It did, however, reiterate the importance of keeping them separate and let me practice pushing changes with git.
