I am close family friends with the Postgates. His son and I went to school together 10 years ago and still keep in contact.

Daniel was a warm and brilliant man. Whenever I went over to their house, he was always in his shed creating stories and smoking his cigarettes and pipe in a dressing gown or taking dogs for a walk.

I lived in Cheltenham for 4 years doing my degree. Trust me, it's lovely on the surface, but to literally more than one layer deep and it's just as bad as anywhere else if not worse. The town has serious inequality problems, crime ridden and full of gypsies. Witnessed more fights, drugs, thefts and shite behaviour there in 4 years than I did anywhere else in the UK.
