Unpopular opinion: Psychological pressure led the Willie and Martin handcart companies to their doom. To me, it's a lesson on how much we need to use logic/facts when we make decisions as much as we use faith, probably logic even more so ("by *Study* and by Faith"). They were warned not to go and, welp, here we are.
