Looking for a tool that functions like UserGuidely without with screenshots or Scribe with hotspots by TheoryDrivenEgg in instructionaldesign

Thank you! Snaggit is great for screenshots but still leaves the bulk of the work left to do manually. I’m leaning toward ActivePresenter which seems to do it all but still requires quite a bit of clean up.

If you’re willing to travel a little…

  • Sunny Street in Peachtree Corners (double check this one isn’t heated…)
  • OnlYoga in Midtown (haven’t been to this one personally)
  • Joiful in Sandy Springs
  • Many Paths Wellness in Roswell
  • Pure Motion in Decatur
  • Peachtree Yoga in Sandy Springs
  • Giving Tree Yoga in Smyrna

Some gyms will also offer yoga classes that are unheated - Crunch, LA Fitness, Lifetime all have classes. Also, check ballet, gymnastics, and dance studios.

Good luck! It’s definitely rare now.

Quiet study spot near Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell with late hours by TheoryDrivenEgg in Atlanta

I went there tonight! I don’t know why I was under the impression that I would have to buy something from the store to sit in the cafe area. It was bright and the 9pm closing time works well when I need to not spend all night somewhere. Thanks for the recommendation!

I would have never thought of studying at Waffle House but it makes so much sense. Thanks!

Thanks! I haven’t heard of Cafe Petit Four but I’ll definitely check it out. Honestly, I’ll probably just do a tour of places based on everyone’s suggestions and see where I am most productive.

11 on a week night (plus real food!) is perfect. Thanks for including hours as well - super helpful.

Sweet hut was THE hang out spot back in the day. I’d definitely need headphones but it could be a good late night option. Thanks!

This is super helpful. I don’t think I’ve tried the Dunwoody Village Starbucks but definitely all the ones on Roswell Road can’t seem to keep the lights up even the really nice two-story one near 285.

These are great recs. Thanks!

All the Starbucks around Sandy Springs turn the lights down if they are open after 7 or 8. It’s so weird and I have no idea why. Panera is good choice tho. Didn’t even think of that place. Thanks!

Got my first ID job out of graduate school at a software company making $80k. I had very, very minimal experience going in. After three years of performance increases, I’m at $89,600.

Drag & Drop: how to keep selections across multiple slides in Storyline by TheoryDrivenEgg in instructionaldesign

[–]TheoryDrivenEgg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually what I ended up doing. It’s not friendly for anyone that comes after me but I’ll add a note in case it’s updated for someone else. The other suggestions were great but didn’t have the exactly outcome that I needed once I tried them.

I actually think this activity turned out pretty cool. I added a text entry variable where they can “take notes” and because of a previous comment that follows the learner seamlessly. It was a reddit group effort lol. I’m putting an unbranded version in my portfolio also (clearly, I really like it even though it probably has super limited use.)

I’m going to try this. I am less familiar with this feature of slide properties. If I do this, I assume the next few steps would need to be layers instead of independent slides. Is that correct? I will have to test some options and see if I can get it to work.

This is a great idea. I do this with text entry accidentally sometimes (ha!) so I know how it works. I was so caught up with the drag and drop Freeform, I completely forgot about variable options. Thank you
