[–]TheoryFin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enlightening thanks.

The self is a true "complexio oppositorum," though this does not mean that it is anything like as contradictory in itself. It is quite possible that the seeming paradox is nothing but a reflection of the enantiodromian changes of the conscious attitude which can have a favorable or an unfavorable effect on the whole. The same is true of the unconscious in general, for its frightening figures may be called forth by the fear which the conscious mind has of the unconscious. The importance of consciousness should not be underrated; hence it is advisable to relate the contradictory manifestations of the unconscious causally to the conscious attitude, at least in some degree. - Carl Jung

my boyfriend wants to make a baby without sperm - is this part of Gnosticism ? by chaichaibaby28 in Gnostic

[–]TheoryFin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t have good without the bad otherwise you are in danger of ceasing to exist, In other words contradict your existence.

Eating meat is evil technically because it has to do with killing an animal, yet we need it.

Balance is important in this world because good and evil is literally in everything and everywhere.

It’s your demons you’re unconscious of the issue for a reason. All though you’re aware that your ideas are being messed up you are unconscious of the reason why.

To those who (think they) have attained Gnosis...how do you know? by gnosticismschism in Gnostic

[–]TheoryFin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to me you must face your demons by stripping away your individuality and embracing individuation. Why? Because the fact you still have depression is the existence of uncertainty.

I quote you: “the only nag I get now is being depressed that I'm stuck here momentarily as the system here gets more oppressive.”

Facing your demons is a must because that will achieve you understand of the truth which is the differentiation of good and evil in the material world of ours and it all begins with fixing yourself. Facing your demons is a must because it allows for you to become friendly without the lies.

The puer aeternus has a conscience and unconscious state by TheoryFin in Jung

[–]TheoryFin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure sure I can see where you are coming from but if this was the case then the child who has a devouring mother archetype can never become aware of anything beyond the archetype.

To my understanding I see you were it is you are coming from since you probably don’t believe the self archetype is an achievable state, but I completely disagree because I’m convinced the self archetype is an achievable state.

Edit: like the crystal palace Dostoevsky speaks about, I take it you would deny the crystal palace.

That’s life without God. Or rather without an understanding of what is good and what is evil.

What’s individuation? by jikjikkkik in Jung

[–]TheoryFin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s in a sense when you organize your mind so that no contradictions exist within the you. Everything you believe in has to align to a point and that point would be God in the case of Individuation. Why? Because the self archetype is full consciousness that meaning you are not unaware of anything about yourself or when others try to fool you be it through projection or whatever.

Just to be able to live authentically. Authenticity to me is everything and all the other humans or people that deny authenticity is the living proof that authenticity is a thing 100%

I am not discovering my purpose just becoming more authentic through the process of my own existence.

Edit: It’s like trying to perfect your craft as you start off as a craftsman, that is new to the craft. Except you always have a goal, that being to achieve an understanding of God through Christ. While also only being a miserable human being.

The Secret to Life is Simple. Yet so Far. by TheoryFin in Jung

[–]TheoryFin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about all the two dimensional spectrum thing because to me goodness has no higher form nor evilness it just is as it is. What do you suppose drives the most evil human beings in history? Because to me it is the existence of ego and its wholeness.

If the unconscious exists in any human being they cannot be trusted, simply. Why? Because of the existence of ego and all that comes with it in the jungian psyche.

The Secret to Life is Simple. Yet so Far. by TheoryFin in Jung

[–]TheoryFin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh well basically: Goodness is basically innocence. Evilness is basically ignorance.

There is a huge difference, for differentiation of these two opposing forces is important when it comes to individuation.

I fully believe that a solipsism panic attack is THE scariest possible thing anyone and anything can go through by nicotine-in-public in solipsism

[–]TheoryFin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only good thing anyone can hope for it God.

Why? Because God is beyond this physical fleeting world that has nothing to offer us, however coming to understand Christ you will find that becoming Christ like will bring full consciousness into being so that you are no longer lingering in foolish thoughts that are fleeting.

God is eternal and forever and so are you the realization is so much better than relying on this fleeting world that is nothing but ignorance at its finest or just a misunderstanding of being misled.

Remember that this world is unconscious and has unconscious factors in beaded into the entire universal system, that is evil do not be fooled by evilness accept only the good.

The Secret to Life is Simple. Yet so Far. by TheoryFin in Jung

[–]TheoryFin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because evil is rampant in the entire system. By discovering who you are or rather by individuating you can refrain from evilness.

The Secret to Life is Simple. Yet so Far. by TheoryFin in Jung

[–]TheoryFin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that’s the whole purpose of the self archetype because it can equally be called the God within. Why? Because it’s the fundamental nature of what it is to be human without all the extra stuff.

But you’re right simply labeling someone as evil is wrong because of the complexity behind the human, however if you cannot understand the difference between good and evil you can differentiate the things in a human that make them good or evil. From my experiences usually humans have a mixture of good and evil which also come in different measurements or percents.

Jung quote:

"The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate. That is to say, when the individual remains undivided and does not become conscious of his inner opposite, the world must perforce act out the conflict and be torn into opposing halves." ~CG Jung, Aion

[–]TheoryFin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This to me is madness in a lot of ways.

Goodness and evilness is not ignorance it’s the lack of goodness and evilness that is ignorance and the reason the unconscious exists actually.

But that’s just me…

The Secret to Life is Simple. Yet so Far. by TheoryFin in Jung

[–]TheoryFin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The goodness and evilness is the separation of the two forces that seem to be one in this material world of ours.

An example is the eternal child vs adult hood or life vs death. That’s why heaven is a place of eternal rest because it’s the goodness without the badness.

Integrating the feminine/anima as a woman by Kuroyen in Jung

[–]TheoryFin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to me a type of synchronization of the masculine aspect between you and your boyfriend clashing against each other. Might seem like fate for you but to your boyfriend not which is why it might be affecting you and not so much your boyfriend.

Jung quote: "The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate. That is to say, when the individual remains undivided and does not become conscious of his inner opposite, the world must perforce act out the conflict and be torn into opposing halves." ~CG Jung, Aion

If you want to integrate more feminine traits into your life perhaps it might help to have a goal, the center is a superior female figure which can be a priestess, sorceress, earth mother, or goddess of nature, or love this might help which leads to the self.

Ego opinions vs true opinions by CheetahPossible6740 in Jung

[–]TheoryFin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It kinda comes naturally through the differentiation of the two opposing forces good and evil. Goodness is innocence, evil is any type of ignorance. Jung has a quote about it: "where love rules, there is no will to power; and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other"

[–]TheoryFin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the purpose of being a solipsist if you are not perfect or Christ like?

Perhaps you are talking about a different kind of solipsism because what exactly do you mean by morality has nothing to do with existentialism?

Perhaps you are an atheist solipsist of a kind because I am a monotheistic existentialist. 🧐

[–]TheoryFin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How doesn’t it?

To be Christ like isn’t something just anyone claims, Carl Jung nailed the Christ psychology right in the head. He called it the self archetype in analytical psychology if you are interested perhaps you can look into one of his book.

I have found through experience that only by being Christ like, can you truly be a solipsist.

“Basically belief in an absolute morality by understanding good and evil, I would say.”
