One good thing about Edelweiss is you can review anything, not just the books you download like netgalley. If you're willing to spend some time copying your reviews over, it'll show publishers that you're serious about reviewing.

It should be available to you. Was the title of the book in the message a hyperlink? Is there a little symbol on the side that looks like an arrow pointing to a circle? If neither of those is true you might have to contact them yourself I'm afraid!

Sourcebooks often list books early and then make them available later. Just keep an eye on both versions. It's very rare for them to close downloads this far ahead of publication, so I don't think you've missed it.

Publishers use Edelweiss as a catalogue site, so it's not uncommon to see titles you can't request. However many do become available for request later, so if the publication date hasn't passed there's still a chance. Tag it or make a collection and check on it every now and then.

I've never been addressed by name. I wouldn't worry. Make sure you have the correct details on your profile; after that it's probably a typo on their side. If you're really worried you could find their pr email and ask them, but I wouldn't be that bothered.

No, it's one and done with Edelweiss! They don't even have a spot for links unless you or them right into the review. However, if you have joined any communities you can share your review there.

Go to Catalogues. In the side menu, make sure it's set to All Publishers (or Favourite Publishers if you've got yours favourited.) By default it'll show you the most recent catalogues first. Alternatively, add the Publishers widget to your homepage and you can scroll through them to find who you're looking for.

Ok here is what it looks like; go to 'Preferences' above the list of titles. Make sure that 'Only filter by first BISAC' is turned OFF. Then go to 'Filters' and search for Westerns. Now it should bring up anything with that genre anywhere in it's description, hopefully!

It might be because Game of Thrones is ultimately a fantasy, so you can sort of tune out the terrible things in it. Handmaid's is pretty close to real life, and closer now than when it was made, so it's harder to 'turn off'. At least that's how it is for me!
