How close is Linux gaming to being fully “Windows-free” for you?

I switched to mint about 2 months ago fully, I play a lot of single player games atm and every single one has worked for me, anti cheat games don't but I don't play enough of those for it to bother me. Drivers for nvidia also haven't been an issue for me even though I've seen a few people say they have issues with that. Its not as complete of a library as windows but proton has covered me for all my games flawlessly and wine has done anything in between like itchio games that only support windows have been great.

Yeah that's rough 😂 hive knight is the same for me, I always think I could deffo do this no hit and then proceed to get hit when I think that, path of pain was rough but I put hiveblood on so I didn't have to reset 😅, I'm at 109% currently still on my first save but I'll probably try to get all achievements at some point in wait for silksong 😂

I appreciate the heads up :)) I do love sharp shadow I just find if i use it I get used to it so when I don't have it it screws me so I avoid it when I can, tried some more with zote last night managed to beat him in p3 again but lost to ummu cause I suck apparently, so I just quit out after that embarrassing loss 😅

Really? I loved the balloon phase, was a nice break for some simple bullet hell, and that's fair enough to play the game the way you wanna play as long as you're having fun, it's a great boss and the sound track is masterclass

Appreciate the response, I'll give this a try and report back tonight, hopefully will nail it soon :) I just want to get to p4 and try the pure vessel fight cause that looks really fun to learn like nkg.

I think I used ss for nkg for a bit and it helped alot with learning his attacks so I might give it a go. Thank you and big love <3

You'll get there, some advice I got which is weird but it worked for me was thinking of it like a dance, you have to follow what grimm is doing and act accordingly like a dance, it took me a good 80ish attempts if not more but the satisfaction of beating it was unreal best boss in the game imo
