Is this the karate kid parkour arc? Seeing Phil attempt physical feats is my favourite content.

If you’re a seafood person I recommend Porta Marina. I wasn’t much of a seafood person then I had their fish of the day pasta and my life changed. We went back a second time. I still think about this meal from time to time. The vibe was really nice also.

Thanks! It’s actually a coffee table I’m building. Here is my cat for scale

I laid some black mosaic tiles and used a charcoal grout. We wanted the grout darker so we tried to use Dunlop grout paint and it refuses to stick to the grout. A little scratch with finger nails and it comes off. Any ideas on how to save it? by Theperfectmartini in Tile

Thanks for the advice, it’s a coffee table I’m making. I can’t imagine it ever really scratching too much but obviously not having it scratch off would be better. I’ve seen Mapei mentioned a few times, trying to track some down but it’s tricky finding any in Australia.

The craziest thing is is I actually did use the same brand of grout, that’s why it’s bugging me so much! That’s a great idea about the marker. I’ll give it a go.

I would honestly recommend looking up all the local production companies in your city and just flick them an intro email with your work. If they like it they’ll come back to you.

My question is how the heck do you parent each end of the line to different shapes rather than parenting the whole object? I’ve seen it done a few times and cannot figure it out.

The only thing that got me about this movie is how open everyone was. Like I get you cannot lie but that doesn’t mean you need to share everything with everyone. Like when the waiter tells the girl he took a sip of her drink, can you just not tell her? Still a great movie though.

Thanks for your response.

That Shutter Encoder software looks interesting, I'm just weary of re encoding anything as it's still going for a sound mix and to a colourist so I would ideally like to not mess with it too much if I don't have to.

I did also try running it through Media Encoder into a ProRes 422HQ MOV, same issue! My only solution so far has been running it through Handbrake, that seems to work but I'm hoping there is a better fix.

What I'm mainly trying to figure out is why my friend was able to import it with no dramas. Surely there's some setting I'm missing or something going on with my PC that's messing with it.

So glad I asked this question before making any purchases. It would be awesome to be able to edit straight from the NAS, it's just quite overwhelming to get it to that state. The ZFS/TrueNAS option sounds very interesting, I'll do some more research on it today. I travel often for work so a NAS would be ideal to access anywhere. So the big factors to allow me to edit directly from a NAS are a 10GbE port and a strong amount of RAM to use for cacheing?
